Announcement of establishment of Advanced Technology Acceleration Corporation, an advanced technology incubation company

Tokyo, September 22, 2021 – Industrial Growth Platform, Inc. (IGPI) has established Advanced Technology Acceleration Corporation (ATAC), an advanced technology incubation company, and has started its business.

Nowadays, society demands various kinds of innovation. Companies are moving from in-house development to seeking innovation from outside (open innovation). Universities and research institutes are moving to expand their collaboration with companies and produce more startups in order to strengthen their earning power.

IGPI has been promoting industry-academia collaboration with universities and research institutes, commercialization of technologies, and producing and fostering university-originated startups, and has established ATAC to further strengthen and expand its activities in the area of advanced technologies.

By further expanding and strengthening our network with universities, startups, and companies, ATAC will propose to the world a new form of social implementation of advanced technologies: co-creation hands-on incubation of advanced technologies. Through these activities, ATAC aims to discover the potential of technology, promote research, and commercialize technology, maximize the value generated, reinvest the value in the technology, and create a spiral that continuously and progressively generates new technology and innovation, thereby improving the competitiveness of Japan’s science and technology and creating a more affluent society.
